CODE OF CONDUCT

 

Section 1.0 - Introduction

 

The Central Bureau of Investigations abides to the Habbo way of being surrounded by a positive and equal environment for all workers. This code of conduct applies to all members of CBI. Those who do not obey this conduct will result in consequences.

 

Section 1.1 - The Rules

 

The following actions and behaviours are NOT acceptable:

  • Asking for promotions, rights, or pay.

  • Use of foul language within HQ.

  • Scamming anyone within the CBI.

  • The use of colour chat, effects, dancing, and capital letters.

  • Discrimination against anyone regarding rank, race, gender, and religion.

  • Going be right back (BRB) or away from the keyboard (AFK) whilst at a CBI station.

  • Spamming within CBI rooms or allied agencies’ rooms.

  • Not calling a superior rank sir or ma’am under any formal situation.

  • Not obeying orders from a superior rank.

  • Interrupting superior ranks when they are giving commands.

  • Abuse of power regarding ranks, rights, and badge admin.

  • Selling ranks within CBI without being authorized to do so.

  • Letting anyone in without the proper badge, uniform and motto.

  • Double jobbing.

  • Speaking another language than English itself in HQ.

  • Disloyalty towards CBI or Edmundyu1995 himself or Founders.

 

Failure to obey Section 1.1 will result in consequences (Section 1.4).

 

Section 1.2 - The Commands

 

Commands are used to show order within the headquarters and connecting rooms. They are to be followed by all members.

 

The commands are as follows:

  • FTF (Fill the Front) - Sit at the front desks and recruit people to work for CBI.

  • FTB (Fill the Back) - Sit on the seats located at the back of the HQ if all stations are filled or you need to AFK or BRB.

  • FTS (Fill the Security) - Manage those who enter HQ at the security station.

  • FTT (Fill the Training) - Sit at the training station and wait to train incoming recruits.

  • AA (At Attention) - Stand and face the superior rank that called you to AA, wave once, and say: “Yes Sir/Ma’am!” depending on gender.

  • AE (At Ease) -  Return back to what you were doing. If you are in AA, do not leave until you hear AE.

 

Failure to obey Section 1.2 will result in consequences (Section 1.4).

 

Section 1.3 - Promotion Policy

 

Promotions are a reward for those who have worked hard and contributed to the furthering of CBI’s growth. You are not to exceed your promotion limits shown in the official rank list. You must use a proper tag to promote and must stick with that tag to avoid confusion. If you must change your tag, you must not promote anyone for 1 week and notify at least 3 founders. Tags must be 2-4 letters long and reflect your Habbo name, if you exceed this you will be asked to change it.

 

Instructors (anyone who is training) may have the privilege to promote Recruits to Cadet I or Senior Cadet I upon the Recruit passing the training quiz.

 

Only Edmundyu1995 may approve and promote Elective rank promotions. When promoted to an elective rank, he/she cannot be promoted further until there is a vacant space available.

 

Presidential + may approve promotions to the first rank of Top Management, Diplomat, Congress, and Board of Directors. After the first rank, the promoter can freely promote whithin their limits.

 

CBI strongly encourages you to have good judgment to prevent over promotion and to watch for self-promotion. A superior rank can demote or stop anyone that has been over promoted if he/she wills.

 

Failure to obey Section 1.3 will result in consequences (Section 1.4).

 

Section 1.4 - The Consequences

 

If you fail to abide with Section 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3, you have the possibility to encounter one of the following consequences. Any disciplinary action can only be used from a higher rank that is eligible to promote you. The following consequences are listed from lightest to the heaviest:

 

  • A strike may be issued for the first and second offence.

  • A kick from the base may be issued if you continue your offence.

  • If laws continue to be broken after strikes and warnings, there may be a small demotion that can range from 1-3 ranks below your present rank.

  • After a demotion, there is a possibility of being fired or a heavier demotion.

  • A larger offence could result in receiving heavier consequences meaning an immediate heavy consequence may be handed out at one single offence.

  • You could receive a temporary ban from the CBI HQ or any of the CBI connecting rooms.

  • If you are a badge admin or rights holder, you may get removed or suspended.

 

Section 1.5 - The CBI Strike System

 

A strike system will be implemented for those who fail to abide with CBI regulations. These strikes will be given and increased each time an offence occurs.

 

The strike system is as follows:

 

  • Warning 1 is given to the offender.

  • Warning 2 is given to the offender.

  • Strike 1 is given to the offender.

  • Strike 2 is given to the offender and results in a demotion.

  • Strike 3 is given to the offender and results in being fired.

Note: Under some situations, the strike system can be overlooked in times of a serious offence.

 

If you are fired, you will have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks before being eligible to return to CBI. Your return must be approved by a Founder and the individual who fired you.

 

Section 2.1 - The Dress Code

 

At CBI, members should be dressed in formal attire. All members are to follow the uniform policy. Clothing that is not permitted within CBI are:

  • Masks.

  • Large hats of silly nature.

  • Randomly affiliated clothing options, such as hoodies of bright colours. A 2/3 bright coloured outfit is permitted anything more will be breaking the policy.

  • Copying of another member’s style without their permission.

  • Something that resembles another groups styles like raiding groups.

  • Styles of offensive matter, including racial stereotypes.

  • Wearing any effects as a clothing option. If you enable ghosting, it will result in an instant kick.

 

Section 2.2 - The Pay

 

Saturday is pay day. However, not all CBI members are eligible for pay. The following are items that make you not eligible for pay:

  • Transferring into CBI less than 5 days ago.

  • Not having the pay badge.

  • Being a member of CBI for less than 5 days.

  • If a founder gives your name to Edmundyu1995  due to unacceptable behaviour.

 

You cannot receive pay if you did not earn the pay badge throughout the week. For more information, visit the Pay Policy.

 

Section 2.3 - The Rights Holders and Badge Admins

 

Having rights and admin within CBI is a privilege and should not be abused. Being a rights holder or badge admin entails you to have responsibility to protect and operate the CBI HQ. If you misuse this privilege, you may have your rights or admin taken away. If you ask for these privileges, you may not be able to get it in the future. Section 3.1 - Transfers

 

The usage of the transfer station is not recruit, but to perform transfers. The CBI transfer limits can be found under the Transfer Policy. This means that one cannot transfer over their limit without having a member of authorization. The agencies we accept transfers from must have 500+ members on their standard ID badge. If someone is transferred out of limit, severe actions will result.  If there is no one able to assist in transfers, you can inform the person to contact a higher rank.

 

The Presidential Branch + have the right to place people on the never hire/transfer list, if the person has shown disloyalty. For more information, visit the Transfer Policy.

 

Section 3.2 - Alliances

 

Alliances should be treated with respect. The rules for allied agencies are as follows:

  • Do not mistreat an allied member inside CBI unless they are demonstrating inappropriate behaviour.

  • Do not troll or raid an allied base.

  • Allies are eligible for the VIP badge, but they must be an SR+ rank.

 

Section 3.3 - Special Visitor Badge

Section 3.3 - Special Visitor Badge

 

The Special Visitor badge allows an individual to have special entrance into the CBI HQ. These visitors must display respectful behaviour while inside the CBI HQ. All CBI members will respect our special visitors as well.

 

Individuals that are eligible for the Special Visitor Badge must have:

  • Never been fired from CBI in the past.

  • Been loyal to CBI if they worked here previously. They did not transfer out of CBI to another agency.

  • Must have one recommendation from a foundation member of CBI.

  • Never had a negative history with CBI on current or other known accounts.

 

The SV badge may be taken away if the individual displays disorderly conduct in base. SV badges may be purchased. All purchases are non-refundable. If the individual does not abide to the code of conduct, he/she will receive a warning, if it continues, the SV badge may be revoked from the individual without any refund. An individual can purchase the SV badge for double the price if his/her SV badge has been revoked once. If revoked more than once, they do not qualify for the SV badge any longer.

 

Section 3.4 - VIP Badge

 

The VIP badge allows entry for an individual into the VIP lounge. VIPs must display respectful behaviour while inside the CBI HQ. All CBI members will respect our VIPs as well.

 

Individuals that are eligible for the VIP Badge must:

  • Be a SR+ rank in an allied agency.

  • Never had a negative history with CBI on current or other known accounts.

 

The VIP badge may be taken away if the individual displays disorderly conduct in base. VIP badges may be purchased. All purchases are non-refundable. If the individual does not abide to the code of conduct, he/she will receive a warning, if it continues, the VIP badge may be revoked from the individual without any refund. An individual can purchase the VIP badge for double the price if his/her VIP badge has been revoked once. If revoked more than once, they do not qualify for the VIP badge any longer.

 

Section 4.1 - Habbo Retros

 

CBI belongs to Habbo.com. Any advertisements towards Habbo retros within CBI are not tolerated. If an individual offers you to play a retro or join a retro version of CBI, please decline immediately.

 

Section 4.2 - Clones

 

Do not clone anyone in CBI for a long period of time, unless you have been given permission from that individual or it is for an event. If one is found to be cloning someone, they will be asked to change. If cloning offences are repetitive this may result in an immediate kick from the HQ.

 

Section 4.3 - Leave of Absence

 

If you are going to be absent for more than 5 days within the CBI, please notify a Presidential + rank and request the Leave of Absence Badge in order for your LOA to be valid. You must be over Senior rank to request an LOA.

 

Section 5.1 - Website

 

The CBI website includes all information about CBI. It includes: training scripts, rank lists, policies, rules, and much more. It is advised to check the website daily for any important announcements, events, or updates.

 

Section 6.1 - The Chain of Command

 

If you have any concerns about CBI and need to contact someone, you may check the Chain of Command and find the person for your specific concern. All members of the Chain of Command are senior members of CBI and must be treated with a high level of respect. Disrespect towards those within the Chain of Command will not be tolerated and may result in one of the consequences listed in Section 1.4.

 

Section 7.1  - Rank Seller

Only the most trusted personnel will be given the rank seller badge, people withhold this badge are allowed to sell ranks to other members of CBI and recruits. The price of each rank is located on the CBI website and the price of a rank must be sold according to the price on the website.

All rank sellers must abide by the following:

 

  •  Sellers keep 15% of the total transaction, the rest must be given to Edmundyu1995

  • The prices of each rank is located on the web site, a rank must be sold according to the price on the site.

  •  Every transaction (including VIP and SV) must be logged (on the forums) or notify Edmundyu1995 (viva Habbo or skype).


Fail to abide these instructions will result in losing the privilege to sell ranks and even resulting in a demotion.

If a member of CBI sells a rank without the rank seller badge, they will be severely punished, from either receiving at least 3 division demotion or even an automatic fire.

Section 8.1 - Meetings

Meetings will be held at least once a week. if there a meeting ongoing, we strongly suggest that everyone attend. Meetings will inform everyone CBI progress and development and any changes. Weekly meetings are held on Fridays, and the suggestion panel are held on Mondays. Founders are allowed to host meetings anytime they feel like it is nessarary to hold one.  

Section 8.2 - Hosting games

Room right holders are allowed to host games when we have high population. Not only does this help with the population, but also creating a fun environment for the agency. Room right holders must ask a founder before hosting a game. Also the hosts re responsible for giving out the prize. If they base was altered in anyway due to a game, the host must change to it original layout.
